Job Description
· Kuruvilla Oncology, located in Putnam County, seeks two full-time, experienced radiation therapists with ARRT Board certifications in Radiation Therapy, R.T.
· The Cancer Center, located in the historic Florida city of Palatka, was established in 1821 as a small town offering outdoor activities with world charm. It is situated along the St. John's River and offers kayaking, bass fishing, and leisurely boating.
· Kuruvilla Oncology offers new competitive pay rates with annual bonuses based on patient volumes.
· The radiation therapist is responsible for accurately delivering prescribed therapeutic radiation under a Radiation Oncologist's direction, using various complex techniques and equipment. Shares and coordinates essential information through documentation and oral communication with other healthcare team members. Performs simulation and other duties as required.
· Experience with Elekta Versa HD, Mosaiq electronic health record, and G.E. CT Simulator preferred.
· Must be willing to work weekends for emergency patient treatments and or holidays.
· Licensure by the State of Florida of Health in Radiation Therapy Technology is required.
