Job Summary
The Director – Operations provides guidance, direction, and monitoring to ensure achievement of targeted goals and outcomes, including full enrollment per budget capacity, compliance with The Joint Commission and program contracts, and KVC procedures, standards, and policies. The Director actively participates in the KVC leadership team and is responsible for achievement of the overall strategic plan goals, annual outcomes, quality indicators, and core competency performance standards for residential staff. This position works collaboratively with the Director of Treatment for the overall success of the program.
Education: • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Nursing, or related field
Licensure/Certification: • N/A
Qualifications:.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and computer skills
• Strong communication skills and practice communication and transparency
• Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language proficiently
• Ability to use independent judgment and manage confidential information • Ability to operate in a challenging, ever-changing, multidisciplinary team environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Proven multi-project prioritization abilities
• Willingness to travel as needed
• Self-motivated, organized and disciplined
• Possess a current, valid driver’s license and meet the KVC requirements for insurance
Experience:
• A minimum of five (5) years’ experience working with children in a residential setting.
• A minimum of four (4) years previous supervisory experience
Preferred Experience/Skills:
• Missouri Licensed Practical Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Registered Nurse (RN)
• Experience working with children and families in a trauma informed environment
