Position Summary : The Supervisor of Prevention Services provides supervision and consultation to the 2Gen Prevention team in order to facilitate / maintain safety, permanency and well-being.
Location : Topeka
Education : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in social work, professional counseling, or marriage and family therapy with licensure by the Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board (BSRB).
Licensure / Certification : BSRB Licensure within the state of KS Current Driver’s License and Auto Insurance.
Preferred Skills : Prevention Services and in-home services experience.
Job Description Summary :
- Develop and maintain a safe, secure, and stable prevention services system that is family-centered and community-connected, utilizing evidence-based practices to support contract services in Kansas.
- Receive and assign client referrals to staff.
- Provide consistent, high-quality supervision and training to staff, including onsite, community, and home-based coaching and observation.
- Monitor the overall prevention services provided to children and families.
- Serve as a consultant, coach, and trainer for staff to support skill development.
- Assist with Solution Based Casework training, coaching, evaluation, and implementation.
- Supervise staff, create individual work assignments, and evaluate job performance.
- Ensure individualized treatment plans are developed for clients and families.
- Review and edit reports and other staff documentation for quality and timeliness.
- Train and monitor staff on policies and procedures, ensuring compliance.
- Ensure services meet all regulatory standards and contract terms.
- Represent the organization at external meetings as needed.
