The Process Operator is responsible for completing work assigned and following quality control standards outlined by management.

Pay Scale: $15-$20 per hour based on experience. Shift Differential/Med/Den/401K/Generous PTO

Responsibilities:

• Identify parts, hang metal parts on conveyor line for powdercoat paint application.
• Remove parts from line, inspect and pack as required.
• Operate equipment in prescribed manner and inspects finished pieces for quality control
• Accurately complete all paperwork/computer entries concerning assigned jobs
• Use equipment and supplies in a safe manner
• Operate forklift to move customer parts and inventory items as needed
• Follow all policies set by KVF-Quad Corporation including Health and Safety Programs
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Experience Requirements:

• Prior paint line experience a plus but not required.
• Ability to perform unskilled and semiskilled tasks in a variety of paint line operations
• Ability to perform heavy physical labor
• Ability to operate basic computer functions
• Ability to operate computers to clockin/out and documenty processes completed
• Ability to read job sheets and do basic mathematical problems accurately
• Ability to understand the safe usage and storage of chemicals
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions

Working Conditions & Physical Demands

The typical working conditions are a light industrial job shop.

• Conditions include exposure to industrial equipment, chemical, loud noises and warm/cold temperatures.
• Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting of production loads, frequently lifting and carrying items weighing up to 100 lbs.
• Moving product below knees and above the shoulders
• Tolerance for bending, twisting, standing, pushing and pulling
• Requires manual/finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination
• Requires ability to perform the job duties while wearing specific PPE suited for blast room operations
• Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range
