Busy holistic medical clinic located in NW Portland looking for a full time receptionist. Please note this is a permanent position and there is no flexibility in the shift. If you cannot work these hours please do not apply. Please note this position is not your typical receptionist role and does involve many physical tasks.

```Duties```

- Routine housekeeping, restroom upkeep, folding and rotating laundry for the clinic, collecting recycling and garbage, etc.

- Unpack and stock supplements

- Fill custom herbal formulas as directed by practitioner

- Greet and check-in patients in a friendly and professional manner

- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using medical scheduling systems

- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual

- Collect and update patient information, including insurance details

- Handle patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints with empathy and professionalism

- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the reception area and clinic space

```Experience```

- Must have previous experience working in AthenaHealth

- Previous experience working as a receptionist required

- Knowledge of front desk operations

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

- Excellent attendance record

- Must be able to lift 35 pounds

Quarterly bonuses after 6 months employment.

Salary: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour depending on experience
