* Familiarity with FLAIR, General Accounting, Governmental Accounting and Excel. Knowledge of principles and processes involved in state business and organizational planning, coordination, and execution of migrating from FLAIR to FL PALM.
* Knowledge of current trends and State of Florida initiatives in the area of PALM management information systems.
* Ability to communicate information effectively with non-technical users.
* Ability to prepare reports and analysis on best practices and preparing plans for streamlining the migration from FLAIR o.

Primary Responsibilities

* Champion the implementation of Florida PALM.
* Understand Client business and data needs.
* Develop understanding of Florida PALM functionality and compare to current business practices.
* Provide recommendations to the Director of Administration to support Client-specific business transformation planning and decision making.
* Work closely with subject matter experts and the technical liaisons to document and understand interfaces and data conversions that are needed to maintain business operations.
* Assist the Director of Administration to identify agency resources to complete readiness activities.
* Participate in internal meetings and engage with other agency stakeholders and liaison roles, as needed.
* Monitor for change resistance and partner with Chief of Financial Support Services or the Director of Administration to help address or manage.
* Report agency-specific Florida PALM risks and issues to the Director of Administration and support mitigation strategies or resolutions.
* Participate in monthly Readiness Touchpoint meetings between the Florida PALM Team.
* Attend Florida PALM hosted meetings, as applicable.

Education

* Bachelor s or Master s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
