About the Role:
Our client into Automotive is urgently looking for a Construction Coordinator to join their team for a renovation of a facility project based out of San Antonio, TX for a long term contract.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing general contractors and subcontractors, testing agencies, budgets and schedules.
- Administer construction contracts; conduct on-site inspection to monitor plan compliance.
- Direct activities of contractors and subcontractors to support project schedules in compliance with plans and specifications.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in Construction and/or A/E firm project management
- Automotive experience – Assembly Plant and/or Powertrain/Unit Plant
- Cost estimating/scheduling
Education:
- Engineering; Architectural; or Construction Management degree/ Skilled trades with supervisory (superintendent/project manager) experience
Softwares:
- Microsoft Office Software – PowerPoint, Excel, Word
- Microsoft Project (if possible)
- AutoCAD (if possible)
