Job Title (Product Engineering - Reliability Engineer 5)Job Responsibilities:
• Perform current product assessments (warranty, field reliability, test data, etc.).
• Establish reliability requirements for technical specs and statement of requirements.
• Provide support in the reliability areas of the engineering quality plan and QRD Worksheet activities.
• Integrate reliability assessment methods into ADV Plans.
• Assess supplier DFMEAs and reliability plans.
• Apply Accelerated test methods and design of experiments methods to ADV Plans.
• Lead DFMEA and Data Acquisition and Monitoring Equipment (DAME) planning activities.
Skills:
• Advanced knowledge of the Vehicle Design Process (VDP), Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) process, Failure Mechanisms and Reliability Tools.
• Strong knowledge of automotive engineering methodologies.
• Expert knowledge Testing, Design, Analysis processes.
• Experience in applying reliability methods and performing Design Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (DFMEA).
• Experience in product testing or analysis.
• Ability to partner with senior management to analyze and solve issues.
• Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of Lotus Notes or other email communication tools.
• Strong interpersonal skills involving ability to work effectively cross-functionally and cross-culturally.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to independently and within a team.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Education/Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 10 years of experience required.
