Job Description: Production Operator

Location: Dalles, Oregon; 97058

Overview: We are seeking a skilled Production Operator for our chemical manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will operate and maintain equipment, ensure safety and quality standards, and contribute to efficient chemical production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Production Equipment:
• Operate reactors, mixers, centrifuges, and pumps per SOPs.
• Monitor and control production processes.
• Perform routine quality checks and testing.
• Report deviations and assist in corrective actions.
• Adhere to safety protocols and use PPE.
• Load and unload raw materials and products.
• Handle and store hazardous materials safely.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning.
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in chemicals.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials, operate equipment, and stand for extended periods.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $17.00 - $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 50 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift

Ability to Commute:

• The Dalles, OR 97058 (Required)
