Position Summary

The Shared Services Assistant supports various HR functions such as onboarding new employees, payroll processing, benefits administration, and HRIS data entry in a shared services setup. This position handles routine administrative tasks and assists in resolving basic employee queries, serving as an entry-level role with opportunities for learning and development.

Responsibilities: 

  • Facilitates the onboarding of all new company employees virtually and in person, depending on the role.

  • Assists in administering employee benefits programs and responds to related inquiries.

  • Performs data entry tasks in HRIS and payroll systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

  • Supports payroll processing by preparing data inputs, processing irregular payments, and maintaining related records.

  • Provides administrative support to the HR department in organizing documents, scheduling interviews, and maintaining personnel records.

  • Must always maintain confidentiality with employee data.

Qualifications: 

  • A high school diploma is required; some college or specialized training in human resources is a plus.

  • No prior experience in HR is required; suitable for internship roles.

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 is a plus.

  • Tech-savvy candidates are a bonus.

  • Strong customer service skills are essential.
