Risk Adjustment Coder for PCP’s in Texas
4 to 6 month temporary assignment
*Remote to Texas Residents*
Pay is dependent on relevant experience and certifications
Hours are flexible
Responsibilities:
Full charge chart review for over twenty providers
Conducts QA coding of medical records and ICD 10 dx codes that are submitted to CMS and other government agencies
Assist with medical record reviews for HCC Dx, correct usage of various coding guidelines (ICD-10-CM, CPT, V24 & V28)
Back audit, submit corrected claims and help with current risk contracts
Qualifications:
Certified Risk Adjustment Coder
CMS V24 & V28 required
Strong attention to detail in handling high volume
Sense of urgency
Athena software experience
Reliable high speed internet
Private workspace
Ability to destroy anything printed
