REPORTS TO: Food Safety Manager
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
LOCATION: Raleigh, NC
SUMMARY: Supports the Company by maintaining a high-level of compliance across the supply chains internal and external compliance. This role involves the coordination, collection, and management of documentation related to compliance, ensuring adherence to food safety and regulatory standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor and support various Food Safety Program activities, including micro-testing, environmental testing, HACCP, and sanitation procedures
- Facilitate internal and external communication on compliance matters, including those related to food and worker safety programs
- Address any updates regarding food safety during monthly safety meetings
- Obtain and manage approval documentation for growers, suppliers, and vendors
- Record and track compliance performance reports, audit findings, and other relevant reports on Azzule
- Participate in creating, revising, and updating safety documentation maintained in SharePoint
Additional Support:
- Assist in assessing and addressing customer complaints
- Assist the Purchasing Agent with weekly Pooled Asset Reporting, including tracking and reporting the location of CHEP pallets and IFCO RPCs
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Bilingual, biliterate in English and Spanish preferred
- Strong organization, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook
- Knowledge of related Federal and State regulations is a plus
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Food Safety work experience preferred
- Experience with Compliance Systems preferred
- Experience with regulatory food compliance preferred
