What You Will Do:

This individual will be responsible for the planning and execution of our digital expression, marketing/media activations, sampling and overall sales performance for the designer fragrance/beauty brand portfolio (Maison Margiela, Prada, Valentino, Mugler, Azzaro, Ralph Lauren & Viktor&Rolf) on both sephora.com and SWAK. exposure, and social activations.

Sephora.com/SWAK is the number one ecommerce beauty retailer in the US and a critical business partner for the Luxe division.

Job Duties and Accountabilities

Driving share and sales growth across sephora.com & swak.com through onsite experience, digital media and sampling.

  • Sales:
    1. Analyze .com sales and performance to develop strategic insights & action plans to facilitate plans of increasing digital penetration.
    2. Negotiates digital exposures with retailer teams to increase share of voice; maintains exposure trackers and digital retailer side-by-sides.
    3. Partners with KAD and Planner to strategize digital promotions and seasonal programs to ensure YoY sales targets are achieved.
    4. Executes & maintains all PDP updates for both core skus and new launch pages on (account) with the goal of driving conversion and improving relevancy within competitive brand set, including optimizations of product titles, descriptions, images, videos, and A content.
    5. Responsible for on time and in full delivery of all digital assets
    6. Work closely with marketing team on all content development and ensure Sephora friendly assets are being created.
    7. Maintain competitive exposure of key brands: highlights, promotions, programs to share out with management.
    8. Consistent & continued review of Sephora.com to ensure optimization of ppage experience by reviewing/fixing continued opportunities and/or misses.
    9. Review consumer reviews on key launches & core products PDP and elevate any themes or call outs.
    10. Partners with retailer site merch team to ensure success of the logistical process execution for all promotional events, including but not limited to set up, testing, and quality assurance.
  • Digital Media
    1. Develops and manages retailer specific media and influencer strategy.
      • Manage LEAP entries for payment of programs/coop.
      • Manage budget planning documents with CAL and Agency partners.
      • Work with all teams as main point of contact (Sephora Media teams & Internal Media Teams, BCL)
      • Create and submit briefs for all COOP campaigns and retailer-specific media (e.g., emails, onsite banners)
    2. Negotiates and influences brand-led spend in media and A&I to ensure account receives fair share based on product priorities.
      • Works with retailer marketing teams to take advantage of any social partnership opportunities.
      • Partner with marketing teams on optimized asset packages
      • Thinks outside of the box, for new and innovative ways of activating on social platforms.
    3. Manages all media initiatives with retailer, managing media placements and executing on all programs to ensure timely delivery of assets.
  • Sampling
    1. Ensure sample forecast is passed on to marketing & demand planning and updated on a rolling basis based on shipments and timing.
    2. Build out omni sampling calendar to show initiatives planned strategically by week/by month.
    3. Submit pitches in Sephora portal and track/confirm participation with marketing as needed.
    4. Manage process for marketing to place, track, and follow up on sample orders for all programs.

Key Challenges, Issues and Complexity

  • This role will require a balance of analytical thinking, creativity and production knowledge, and relationship skills.
  • Leveraging strong application skills of ideas to develop consumer understanding and insight to act on the data in collaboration with internal brand & external account partners.
  • It requires constant interaction across a matrixed business structure (Marketing, Sales, Planning, CoE) to coordinate work and deliver yearly sales objectives and brand specific benchmarks.

  • 6-8 years of experience in e-commerce account management, digital marketing/media
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to participate in and lead presentations to senior leadership.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with avid attention to detail and follow through.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills with a keen ability to keep projects on track.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be able to present data in an organized manner to different levels of the organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior retailer experience and understanding
  • Retailer media planning/execution experience
