Position Overview/Position Responsibilities:

This position primary responsibility is to assist with any clerical task within the distribution center. The clerk assists DC supervision with resolution of the non-conformity and may provide suggestions for preventative action. The clerk will also assist in other DC activities as required including performing execution tasks.

What we are looking for:

• Minimum of 1 year distribution/warehouse experience
• Must have general computer knowledge (SAP experience a plus)
• Must meet OSHA and company requirements for L'Oreal forklift certification and MHE training and certification.
• Must be able to lift, pull and push up to 25lbs, walking frequently, stand for prolong periods of time and bend occasionally.
• Must be able to travel to local L'Oreal warehouses for audits or inspections
• Work independently with strong aptitude to detail. Nice to have:
• Proficient in written English
• Forklift operation experience preferred.
• Preferred 2-3 years Distribution/Warehouse experience.

Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:

• Cycle Counting:
  • Execute cycle counts across all L'Oreal Luxe warehouse rack locations using a combination of driving and on-foot counting techniques.
  • Ensure accurate inventory data by verifying physical counts against system records, identifying and investigating discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with warehouse personnel to reconcile inventory variances and take corrective action as needed.
• Driving & Material Handling:
  • Safely operate warehouse vehicles (e.g., order picker, forklift - specify required licenses) to access elevated rack locations for efficient cycle counting.
  • Adhere to all company safety procedures and traffic regulations within the warehouse environment.
• Product Investigation & Reporting:
  • Conduct detailed investigations into inventory discrepancies, including root cause analysis.
  • Document cycle count findings, discrepancies, and resolutions in a clear and concise manner.
  • Prepare and submit regular cycle count reports to supervisors, highlighting key metrics and areas of concern.
• Audit Support:
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of internal and external audits related to inventory control.
  • Gather and organize documentation, provide supporting evidence, and address auditor inquiries.
• Continuous Improvement:
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of inventory control processes and procedures.
  • Proactively identify areas for efficiency gains, error reduction, and enhanced data accuracy.
