The Senior Software Integration Engineer is responsible for analyzing system requirements, assessing design risks, and implementing software features to support integration activities for our next-generation diagnostics instruments.

· Design and develop scalable system solutions with internal tools and product requirements.

· Drive and evaluate resulting system performance, speed and throughput, and identify root causes for system-level issues, latencies and resource conflicts between Hardware, Firmware, and Software.

· Work along software and internal teams to refine system dependencies and implement a comprehensive approach for scripting and programing, to address event handling, error reporting, system recovery.

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.

· 7 years of experience using web technologies (e.g. Web APIs, Java, SQL Server, TypeScript/JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, frameworks such as Angular or React).

· 7 years of hands-on experience with systems integration specializing in Firmware, Hardware, and Software.

· Drive and evaluate resulting system performance, speed and throughput, and identify root causes for system-level issues, latencies and resource conflicts between Hardware, Firmware, Software and Reagents.

· Thorough understanding of system architecture and sub-system dependencies, and of risk analysis, mitigation and controls, relating to instrument control logic, dynamic time allocation, hardware and software synchronization and resource sharing.

· Experience in Medical device industry is a plus.

· Experience with design change processes or new product development.

· Experience with the dFMEA process.
