Job Title: Workforce Development Program Supervisor
Reports to: Manager of Educational and Workforce Development Programs
Salary range: $50,000 - $60,000

Job Summary:
La Casa Norte is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Program Supervisor to lead the implementation of our youth workforce development program. This position is ideal for a candidate passionate about mentoring youth aged 16-24 in the West, Southwest, and South Side communities of Chicago. The role will be instrumental in implementing the program’s curriculum, managing partner relationships, recruiting youth participants, and providing direct supervision to them. This is a full-time position.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Implementation: Oversee the execution of four consecutive 13-week cohorts, each consisting of ten youth, ensuring a total of 195 hours of programming per cohort.
  • Participant Management and Oversight: Recruit, train, and supervise youth participating in the cohorts. Monitor participants' progress, ensure they receive training and support services, and process their payroll.
  • Community Engagement: Lead efforts to engage with local communities, fostering partnerships to provide youth with career exposure, programming, and support services.
  • Curriculum Development: Collaborate with educators and experts to refine and enhance the program’s curriculum, focusing on peer outreach, community engagement, support services, and career development.
  • Reporting & Evaluation: Track program metrics, prepare reports for stakeholders, and continuously assess the program’s effectiveness and impact.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma.
  • Minimum of 3 years in program management or supervisory roles, preferably within non-profit or community-based organizations.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills; proficiency in digital tools for community engagement; and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by at-risk youth.
  • Compassionate, culturally competent, and resilient, with an ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Strong commitment to addressing homelessness, housing instability, and the impacts of violence and trauma through community engagement and workforce development.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, education, public administration, or related field.
