We are looking for an Operations Lead to join our Intuit Dome team! The Operations Lead is responsible for preparing Intuit Dome for all events, coaching operations staff and executing processes for back-of-house operations to ensure Intuit Dome always operates optimally. As an Operations Crew Lead, you will engage in all activities and in-house facilities, event setup/breakdown within Intuit Dome property, and grounds while ensuring the venue is always event ready. The Operations Crew's main tasks include event set-up, tear down, changeovers, and daily operational work related to concerts, sporting, meetings, and other events. Crew Members may also assist with assembly of furniture, pickups and deliveries, and movement of various equipment throughout the facility.
This is a full-time role based in Inglewood, CA and is eligible for our competitive benefit offering including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan with company contribution, Well-Being Allowance, and more. The scope of this position encompasses a 24 hour, 7 day a week operation with the transition of numerous daily events. Due to the nature of this industry, the candidate must be available to work a flexible schedule including weeknights, weekends, and holidays to cover high profile concerts and NBA games.
What You Will Do:

• Carry out the conversion and changeover of the building from event to event including but not limited to NBA, college basketball, concert productions, corporate events, etc.
• Carry out the operation of all event setup and teardown equipment including stages and platforms, basketball court flooring, basketball goals, scorers’ tables, retractable seating, etc. in compliance with Cal. OSHA, Life & Safety, and ADA regulations.
• Ensure the internal / external customer is satisfied upon the conversion of items and all items in the production notes have been addressed to meet safety regulations.
• Motivate, instruct, and train part-time employees to effectively execute operations tasks.
• Track operations supplies / equipment and perform effective inventory storage practices to guarantee the appropriate supplies and equipment required to perform their duties efficiently.
• Support Intuit Dome’s robust sustainability program.
• Oversee overall cleanliness and organization of the venue.
• Other duties as assigned.

Special Requirements of the Job

• This position requires frequent bending, ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods of time, exposure to multiple external elements, and extensive walking through the building.

Your Background, Skills, and Experience:

• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in the field of facility management preferably in a complex and sophisticated deadline driven environment.
• Prefer one (1) year supervisory experience in live entertainment venue conversion with responsibility supervising and leading staffs across a wide range of operating functions in a changing environment.
• Previous experience and certification operating heavy machinery such as forklift, scissor lift and golf carts.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to interact effectively and professionally, diplomatically, and maturely with internal and external clients and peers at all levels within an organization and throughout the community, both oral and written.
• Highly organized with excellent project coordination, project management skills, and attention to detail to meet tight deadlines and work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
• Knowledge of and a passion for professional basketball and live entertainment.
• Highly responsive to emergencies in a fast paced, time sensitive environment with demonstrated confidence, decision-making, and multi-tasking abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to train, give clear, concise direction and provide constructive feedback within a multi-ethnic/multi-cultural environment.

Compensation

• Compensation for this role is $22/hour.
