Position: Case Manager (Full Time / Exempt)

Reports to: Advocate Coordinator/Executive Director

Education Requirements: Bachelors degree preferred. Successful completion of sexual assault advocate training. A minimum 2 years experience in sexual assault crisis intervention or 2 years work in victim services.

Skills and Knowledge: Excellent skills and knowledge in first response protocols

Excellent relations with law enforcement, medicalcommunity, other professionals

Ability to be flexible and responsive to first response teammembers

Possess excellent written and oral communication skills

Demonstrated ability to provide support for victims andfamily members

Possess self motivation, enthusiasm and leadership qualities

Ability to work in a team approach

Ability to positively network in a service delivery system

Proficient skills in Excel, Word, and software related todevelopment of brochures

Job Related Duties: 1.Provide community resource information for victims ofcrime

2.Ensure victims and families are given information related tovictim rights and victim compensation

3.Ensure victims and their families are provided with legalprocess information and medical options

4.Ensure grant reports are timely and accurate each month,quarterly and end of year for all funding sources in casemanagement.

5.Ensure all goals and objectives are met for all funding sources in crisis intervention

6.Maintain clear and positive communication with SANE program manager, Advocate Coordinator, Deputy Director, Executive Director.

7.Maintain judicial docket of upcoming trials.

8.Oversee counseling referral process and ensure victims who request counseling services, are scheduled for an appointment.

9.Maintain contact with victims to ensure all aspects of victimization have been addressed.

10.Other duties duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
