Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors
- Bachelor's Degree in an instrumental music field from an accredited university
- Valid Texas Teaching Certificate in subject area assigned
- Applicants in Alternative Certification Programs (ACP) must have passed content exam(s) and hold a Statement of Eligibility (SOE) to be eligible for employment
- Strong communication, public relations, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of State and UIL policies governing instrumental music
- Teaching beginning band students
- $61,000 for beginning teacher with "0" years experience. Based on 2024-2025 Compensation Plan, pending Board approval.
- $1,000 Master's Degree addenda
- Additional $1,000 Doctorate Degree addenda
- Assistant Director, 6th Grade Campus Stipend $3,000
