La Quinta Inns & Suites is Hiring a Front Desk/Night Auditor Near Clive, IA
La Quinta Inn & Suites is now taking applications for Guest Service Agents for 2nd Shift - 3 pm to 11 pm Night Shift 11 PM to 7 AM . This is for part time leading to Full time with average work week of 32 hours.
Hotel Front Desk Guest Service Agent Responsibilities:
* Assures highest possible level of visitor and guest satisfaction by providing superior customer service.
* Responsible for checking guests into and out of the hotel as well as answering phone calls andcustomer inquiries.
* Responsible for resolving escalated customer relations issues.
* Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel policies and services.
* Must respond to and follow-up on all guest requests to ensure customers are satisfied with the hotel’s services and accommodations.
* Responsible for positively representing and promoting the property.
* Ensures systems and procedures are in place and followed for guest safety and security.
* Miscellaneous duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
* Perform other related work duties as assigned.
Skills, Educational Background and Experience:
* Prior hotel experience as Front Desk / Guest Service agent is desirable.
* Experience with Choice Reservation System (Choice Advantage) is a huge plus.
* High School Diploma or GED required.
* Prior experience using Windows based software including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook highly preferred.
* Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
* Ability to work well and collaborate with others.
* Superior customer service skills.
* Excellent communication skills.
* May be required to stand for an extended period of time.
* Able to work a flexible schedule.
