$17.00 - $25.00 per hour with benefits
A Mobile Phlebotomist is limited to routine venipuncture of the arm, specimen processing, administrative duties and responsibilities as directed.
Scope of responsibilities include, but not limited to:
1. Treats patients in a courteous manner.
2. Maintains work area in a sanitary and properly supplied condition at all times.
3. Verifies correct patient by appropriate means before the procedure is begun.
4. Uses proper technique in obtaining blood samples, including single use of sterile supplies.
5. Conducts collection using proper hygiene techniques.
6. Labels the tubes immediately and correctly after procedure is completed.
Requirements: The position must fulfill all local State requirements pertaining to the state in which the phlebotomy site is located.
Other qualifications include:
1. High school graduate or equivalent
2. Phlebotomy certification preferred
3.Experience as a phlebotomist preferred
