The LPS Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day coordination and supervision of the operations department to ensure the successful implementation of the Global Sample Management strategy, structures, processes, and metrics in order to deliver outstanding customer satisfaction.

Supervises the day-to-day operations of the team including, but not limited to:
Assist and support management in the development and implementation of global processes and procedures, and performance metrics.
Instills a culture of continuous improvement, quality, and productivity.
Supervises staff including but not limited to:
Monitor, track, manage and ensure resolution of all customer complaints, issues and concerns. Assist and support management in the development and implementation of global processes, procedures, and performance metrics.
Instills a culture of continuous improvement, quality and productivity.
Ensures all services failures are identified, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner and take preventative action to ensure that the same service failure(s) does not occur again.
Effective and timely adherence to management communications, meetings, and procedures.
Assist in the monitoring and the providing of responses to inquiries in the LPS Management Inbox (as needed)
Monitors expenses.
Ability to travel(as needed).
PREFERRED YEARS OF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 3
DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• At least 3 years applicable work experience.
• Expert in the sample handling processes at the Labcorp Central Laboratory.
• Strong knowledge of Labcorp Sample Management processes and tools.
• Strong detail orientation and presentation skills.
• Able to work in a team as well as independently.
• Dynamic attitude and ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to take up challenges.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to use several software packages i.e. Word, Excel, Access.
• Trained and/or certified in Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
Skills
1. Ability to “think out of the box” and conceptualize solutions.
2. Ability to analyze complex requirements and automation designs.
3. Proficiency with process design and process optimization tools and techniques.
4. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Facilitation skills are desired.
5. Achieve results within timelines.
6. High energy.
7. Previous people leadership(preferred).
8. Influencing skills.
9. At least 2 years of Zavacor and/or LPS Kit Receipt experience.
10. Team oriented to accomplish project and organizational goals.
