Provides leadership in the areas of quality assurance, safety, and security within the laboratory.
Aids manager in all site activities for compliance with agency regulations and standards.
Drafts appropriate Quality SOPs, management review and reports.
Assists in programs such as
Interacts with site personnel to ensure the timely completion and submission of proficiency test results. Maintains files documenting the site’s proficiency tests performance.
Uses considerable judgment skills to conduct audit/monitoring and aid in non-conformances
Prepares licensure applications within the prescribed timeframes.
Supports site with Document control processes
Maintains QA documentation as per established retention guidelines including but not limited to:
Leads site EHS program including but not limited to:
Supervisory Relationships: Accomplishes tasks with minimal direct supervision
Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field preferred.Minimum 1-2 years relevant Quality/EHS experience preferred.Strong computer skills, including but not limited to the following Microsoft applications: Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
