• Audit inventory to keep systems in balance during daily order processing.
• Research and resolve all keyed issues, adjustments and discrepancies. Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures.
• Assists in maintaining inventory accuracy. Complete follow up to all previous inventory adjustments. Completes and reviews cycle counts. Reconcile daily unexpected back orders and participate in annual physical inventories.
• Receives products from vendors and manufacturing to check for quality. Communicates potential quality issues to Purchasing, QA and Accounting teams.
• Maintains quality control and inventory control manuals.
• Partners with Accounting accordingly on findings and adjustments, reconciliations
• Compile daily adjustments at month end for review by the accounting department
• Notify management of significant differences in inventory prior to changes
• Work with other departments to help achieve corporate goals & promote company policy
