Job Description
Labor Finders of Austell is looking for a Wood Fabricator to join our team. This position will specialize in reclaimed beams, mantels, barn wood, cabinets, flooring, fabrication, finishing, installation, and more
Responsibilities:
- Building with wood - building barn doors, cabinets, custom furniture, weld metal bases, boxed beams, floating shelves, vanities, wood walls, flooring, bar tops and whatever unique project the client asks for
- Working on construction sites – building houses, assisting with remodels (kitchens, basements, etc) basement, or a kitchen
- Off site installations - floating mantels, shelves, boxed beams, barn doors etc
- Working with the following tools - a jointer, planer, table saw, band saw, countless hand tools, a saw mill, and a 55" Alaskan chain saw mill
Requirements:
- 4 - 10 years experience
- Must know how to read and use a tape measure
- Have a background working on construction sites
- Cant be afraid to get on the scaffolding
- The ability to keep up in a fast paced environment
- Be organized, dependable, & trustworthy when dealing with clients
- This is a non-smoking position.
- Monday - Friday assignment
