Job Title: Kitchen and Bath Designer

Position Summary: As a Kitchen and Bath Designer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional design expertise to our clients. You will work directly with walk-in homeowners and contractors to create original designs for their projects. The ideal candidate will stay current with trends in home improvement and design, demonstrating strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills. This role also offers the opportunity to earn a commission.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding client service throughout the design process, ensuring all reasonable client requests are met in the Showroom/office.
• Resolve client order issues by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to the Sales Manager.
• Produce original renderings, drawings, and sketches for client projects upon request.
• Design kitchens and bathrooms from concept to completion using 20/20 software.
• Participate in weekly Sales and Design Team meetings.
• Assist clients in selecting products based on their needs, product specifications, and industry regulations.
• Highlight product features based on customer needs, technical knowledge, and product capabilities.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding pricing, availability, and product usage.
• Negotiate pricing, prepare sales agreements and contracts, and submit orders for processing.
• Keep the Manager informed of any issues that require escalation.
• Follow up with client's post-purchase to ensure satisfaction and address any questions or concerns.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Excellent client service skills with clear communication.
• Ability to meet monthly sales quotas.
• Strong attention to detail and effective verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
• Previous cabinetry knowledge and familiarity with 20/20 software are advantageous.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.

Education: Bachelor’s degree or over two years of relevant work experience.

Experience: A minimum of 2 years as a kitchen and bath designer or in a related role, preferably in a similar field. 1 year of experience in cabinet drafting and design (Preferred).

Pay: Salary Uncapped Commission.
