As a key member of the Production team, the Electro-Mechanical Technicianprovides technical support, calibration, installation, repair and preventive maintenance for production equipment, processes, and building maintenance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Providesupport for equipment such aspneumatics,fixtures and tooling, drills, labeland inkjetprinters, crimpers and other manufacturing equipment.
• Executeprocedures for calibration, document their completion, and consistently complete all calibration verifications on schedule provided.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment, document their completion, and consistently complete all preventive maintenance on schedule provided.
• AssistEngineering in fixture qualifications for new/existing equipment as required, including collection of data, and supporting design of new equipment or equipment modifications.
• Perform testing/ calibration of sensors and catheters.
• Soldering of PCBs for finished goods as well as test equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: 

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2-4 years relevant experience; working with medical equipment preferred.
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent activities to maintain uptimes and meet deadlines.
• Be able to lift 25 pounds overhead.
• Strong demonstrated "hands-on" ability to maintain mechanical and electrical systems and equipment.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Ability to interpret technical data, schematics, and blueprints.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Troubleshooting of complex systems.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Associate degree or Technical Certificate in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in Medical Device manufacturing a plus.
