laccd is Hiring a FY25 - Instructor Special Assignment, Harbor Advantage & Harbor Success SFP LIMITED Near Wilmington, CA

Los Angeles Harbor College (LAHC) is seeking a LACCDfaculty member highly qualified individual to serve as the Title V: CASAInstructor Special Assignment (ISA) to coordinates and provides leadership forthe successful implementation of the project. Interested individuals who possess the required training and experienceare invited to submit a letter of interest and resume. This position issupervised by the Dean of Student Services. This is a limited, SFP (speciallyfunded program) position and is a 1.00 assignment. The grant isexpected to last till the September 30, 2026.

Supervise day-to-day operations and implementation of strategic planning and leadership initiatives in support and development of the Harbor Advantage & Harbor Success Program funded by Title V: CASA grant.
Strategic Planning: provide leadership that drives the program to achieve grant deliverables
Manage implementation of the Evaluation Plan for the overall project by working with internal evaluation and monitoring every component of the Project evaluation process.
Program Compliance and Evaluation: monitor and assure apprenticeship program and site compliance with state and federal regulations, college policies, apprenticeship requirements, and specific industry licensure and certificate requirements.
Monitor best practices in project activity areas to ensure maximum benefit from the use of federal funds.
Academic Development: analyze various data sets to develop academic programs and course scheduling with the goal of supporting the technology, innovation and apprenticeship programs and work with Dean of Curriculum to assure course development approval through the curriculum process and implementation.
Faculty and Staff Development: plan, coordinate and arrange for appropriate training for assigned faculty and staff; develop and initiate project activities, orientations and in-services to review academic policies and procedures of the program, the College and changes on
State and Federal regulations. Develop and implement professional development plans for faculty instructors. Collaborate with Academic Senate and the Professional development faculty coordinator.
Participate on committees that are focused on enrollment – Guided Pathways , CPC, Academic Senate, Enrollment Management, Shared Governance, etc.
Perform other related duties as assigned
