LaClare Creamery is Hiring a Production Assistant (2nd Shift) Near Malone, WI

We are looking for a motivated, hard-working Production Assistant to support our 2nd Shift team in crafting the highest quality of cheeses. This position will typically work Monday-Friday 3:00pm-11:30pm with some overtime as necessary, includes competitive pay starting at $19/hour plus a $3.00 shift premium for working on 2nd shift, full benefits, and monthly bonus opportunities!

Reports to: Varies by Department

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Work with Department Supervisor, Plant Manager, and Cheesemakers to complete all tasks within the production areas. These items include but are not limited to the following:
  • Production: Assisting with all production runs and documenting all steps in make procedure to ensure accurate, consistent, safe, and quality products every time
  • Sanitation: Keep a clean work environment. Wash, rinse, sanitize and return all equipment back to its designated area immediately after done using. Complete time of use, daily, weekly, biweekly, and monthly sanitation scheduled responsibilities along with documentation once work is complete.
  • Follows all policies and procedures LaClare Creamery has implemented regarding food and personal safety to assist in maintaining a safe work environment and safe, quality products at all times.
  • Lives the Mosaic Way while promoting our values and culture drivers
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Lift - be able to lift 50 lbs continuously, stand for 8 hours/day and occasionally twist, bend, climb, grasp and other repetitive movements
  • Flexible to various creamery environments including unloading, making, painting, packaging, aging and shipping.
  • Training Requirements:
  • Annually complete all trainings within LaClare Creamery Training Matrix
  • Annually complete HACCP training
  • Annually complete Appendix N certification
  • Learn cheese makes
