Lacosta Facility Services is seeking janitors to join our team at the Columbus, GA facility! This job is a full time, permanent position. LACOSTA is looking for a Cleaner to take care of our facilities and carry out cleaning and maintenance duties. The goal is to keep our building in a clean and orderly condition.

**Previous experience in janitorial/cleaning is preferred.**

Shift:

2nd Shift - 2:00PM-10:30PM

Days: Mon-FRI

Job Duties:

• Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc.)
• Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
• Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
• Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
• Make adjustments and minor repairs
• Stock and maintain supply rooms
• Cooperate with the rest of the staff
• Follow all health and safety regulations
• Other duties as assigned

Essential Functions:

• Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies is also preferred.
• Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
• Must be comfortable walking, stooping, bending, and squatting during entire shift.
• Must be comfortable being on feet during entire shift.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.

Expected hours: 40 per week
