JOB SUMMARY

The Housekeeper is an important part of the team that helps to provide a clean and safe space for our clients, caregivers, and visitors to enjoy.

Duties generally include residential facility cleaning and organizing tasks. The employee will provide excellent customer service to all assigned clients.

This position is roughly 12 hours a week.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

• 1. Responsible for the overall cleanliness of Dousman living units, Schools, and Administration areas
• 2. Maintain sanitation of agency bathroom facilities on a set schedule.
• 3. Assist with monitoring supplies, including assistance with inventory / budget and purchase of new equipment and cleaning supplies.

Provide supplies on request or as indicated by the unit utilization clipboards. Provide the highest quality of task completion while following the highest levels of safe working practices

• 4. Portray a positive image and engage in professional and friendly communications with all clients, staff, and guests.
• 6. Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and / or draperies, using vacuum cleaners and / or other related appliances / equipment.
• 7. Empty wastebaskets and dispose of trash and waste in designated areas
• 8. Must operate a personal computer to access e-mail, electronic calendars, and other basic office support software - Maintain no more than two (2) hours of office time per week.
• 9. Exercises responsible judgment according to position parameters
• 10. Assumes responsibility for decisions, and their consequences, and escalates any customer concerns to management
• 11. Provide excellent customer service to all clients, staff, and guests.
