The Position:
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field preferred; Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or relevant role; preferably in a non-profit organization; Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record keeping. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Proficient in all Microsoft applications-specifically Excel; Experience with Financial Edge NXT a plus.
Job Functions:
- Process a high volume of Accounts Payable invoices daily.
- Track requisitions needed for payment of invoices, which includes reviewing invoices for accuracy, ensuring proper approvals, and general ledger coding.
- Verify accuracy and timely payments of bills for service, materials, supplies and equipment.
- Prepare and process accounts payable checks, electronic transfers, and payments on a weekly basis. Reconcile payments with vendor statements
- Post invoices and payments through accounts payable to the general ledger.
- File requisitions/invoices/checks and maintain vendor files
- Assist the Finance team with month-end closing processes and other accounting duties as assigned.
- Work with auditor in preparation for annual audit.
- Maintain professional atmosphere in office area, other agency locations, and in contact with the public.
- Maintain confidentiality of agency records and files.
- Cooperate fully with all licensing and accrediting operations of respective funding sources including any inspections and investigations.
- Comply with Agency Policies and procedures and Code of Ethics.
- Other duties as assigned.
The Location:
LADACIN is based in Monmouth and Ocean counties. Our locations are in beautiful natural surroundings. This location is in Monmouth County.
