LadGov is Hiring a Parish Administrative Coordinator Near Fort Rucker, AL

Worksite: On-site
Position: Full-time
Location: Fort Rucker, AL
Duties:
  • Coordinate the celebrations within the Liturgical Cycle
  • Develop and maintain the Parish calendar
  • Coordinate all volunteer activities
  • Publicize religious events for the Parish
  • Maintain the Parish registration and census database
  • Prepare the Catholic weekly bulletin
  • Recommend, prepare, and track all purchase order requests for religious supplies
  • Assist the Catholic Chaplain and Priest in conducting religious services as per the dictates of the Roman Catholic Church
Requirements:
  • Experience in military chapel programs is preferred
  • Ability to present information orally and in written format (i.e., emails, minutes, bulletins, advertising, and marketing)
  • Effective interaction with individuals from different Catholic religious groups
  • Ability to speak English clearly and with excellent comprehension
  • Demonstrated familiarity with the Catholic faith and practices in accordance with Sacred Scripture and Tradition
  • Experience with a military Catholic Community and chapel environment is highly preferred
  • Current and valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance before operating any type of vehicle or equipment on the installation
