Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the dentist and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office. If you are passionate about providing exceptional patient care and have a strong attention to detail, we would love to hear from you. Responsibilities: - Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations - Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Take and develop dental x-rays - Record patient medical history and vital signs - Perform basic dental laboratory procedures - Provide post-operative instructions to patients - Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical record systems (Eaglesoft, Dentrix) - Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient flow - Ensure compliance with infection control protocols Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Completion of an accredited dental assisting program - X-ray certification - Proficiency in medical coding and billing - Knowledge of CAD/CAM systems for dental restorations is a plus - Familiarity with Eaglesoft or Dentrix software is preferred - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities - Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Joining our team as a Dental Assistant offers numerous benefits, including competitive pay, opportunities for professional development, and the chance to work alongside a supportive team of dental professionals.
