Job Description: 

• The Mainframe Support Consultant will be responsible for providing technical support, maintenance, and optimization for mainframe systems.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for mainframe systems, including IBM z/OS, CICS, DB2, and other mainframe applications.
• Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including system backups, software updates, and security patches.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to support application deployments, system upgrades, and configuration changes.
• Analyze system logs and performance data to diagnose and resolve technical issues
• .
• Develop and maintain documentation for mainframe processes, procedures, and best practices.
• Assist in disaster recovery planning and testing to ensure system availability and data integrity.
• Provide on-call support for critical incidents and emergencies as needed.
