Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with picking, packing, and materials handling in a warehouse setting.

The Warehouse Associate pulls and ships customer orders according to specification.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

None

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receives orders from the order desk and retrieves goods from warehouse
• Checks packing list for accuracy and inspects collected goods
• Delivers materials to packing desk for packing and updates computer ordering system
• Responsible for packing the order in the final packages and confirming the correct items are included
• Processes shipments using shipping software; compares costs to determine the most economical method of shipment
• Participates in the inventory process; ensures that product quantities are accurate
• Maintains a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment in accordance with department and OSHA standards

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Must have superb attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work cohesively with a variety of people
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks, ensure accuracy and efficiency, and handle multiple duties simultaneously
• Must be adaptable and able to do work that requires frequent shifts in direction
• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and pallet wrappers

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• 1 year of order fulfillment experience (pulling, packing, and shipping) in a warehouse setting
• Experience with shipping software a plus
• Prior forklift operating experience preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to bend, kneel, stoop crouch, and stack as needed
• Ability to operate heavy machinery

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
