Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks to customers, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following standard recipes
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Check customers' identification to ensure they meet the legal drinking age
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Upsell additional products when appropriate
- Monitor inventory levels and restock bar supplies as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Bartender or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling
- Strong understanding of retail math and basic math skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of brewing techniques is a plus
- Experience in banquet or food service settings is advantageous
