Position Start Date:
upon hire SEC Paraprofessional (Resource Room) at Sandpoint High School 7.0 hours/day
Paraprofessionals support teachers in developing successful learners through instructional support. This position varies based uopn the individual needs of students, but will primarily be a support role in varoius general education classrooms and academic support. You may work with small groups of students on additional curriculum instruction, assist students in developing age-appropriate social skills, and/or work one-to-one with a student.
Paraprofessional starting pay range for the 2023/24 school year is $15.26 - $19.33 per hour, depending upon experience.

Minimum Qualifications
ONE of the following:

• Associate's Degree in any field OR
• 32 semester credits of higher education OR
• Passing score on the Parapro Praxis Assessment Test administered in the District Office by appointment
• Ability to lift and/or move/carry up to 75 pounds, based on specific student need
