Facility Foreperson (900 Students) - Sandpoint High School - 40 hours/week
The Facility Foreperson provides direction and coordination to the Custodial Staff and acts as liaison between the department, staff, administration, and outside user groups. They provide essential services to maintain the cleanliness and safety of our schools, which is necessary to support student learning. Among other duties, they communicate policies & practices, organize & schedule staffing for events/activities, maintain equipment, and assist their Staff as needed.

This is an 8 hour/day position on the 260 work day calendar with availability to respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.
The starting pay range for Facility Forepersons for the 2023-24 school year is $20.31 - $25.73, depending on experience.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years work experience as a custodian or janitor in a public or commercial facility preferred
• 2 years supervisory experience preferred
• Ability to successfully demonstrate physical capacity to perform the responsibilities of the position through a Fitness for Duty physical
