Anything from diabetes mellitus to Cushing's Disease, liver diseases (portal systemic shunt, Copper Storage Disease), respiratory diseases (pneumonia, chronic rhinitis), gastrointestinal diseases (inflammatory bowel disease, fungal disease) and auto-immune diseases (immune-mediated hemolytic anemia, immune-mediated thrombocytopenia).
As an IM Patient Care Technician (PCT) you will be utilized to your full potential. The skills and knowledge you bring will be expanded through our Training Program in order to provide the best patient care possible. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to obtaining patient vital signs, collecting samples for diagnostics, executing treatment plans, anesthesia monitoring, and assisting with endoscopic procedures. Not only will you take an active role in patient care but also provide expert education to clients about their pet's health and treatment plans.
