Servers and Dietary Aides are a very important part of the caregiving team and are supervised by the Executive Chef. We'll provide you with a clear understanding of your position to set you up for success.

Part-time

Qualifications we prefer:

• High school or equivalent
• Food Service Experience: 1 year

Must haves:

• Must enjoy meeting and interacting with elderly
• Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely with resident and co-workers
• Must be well groomed and practice safe and clean food handling
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds from floor level to chest, stoop, bend, turn and stretch
• Must also be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time and assist residents as needed
• Assistive devices to prevent injury will be available, if required.

What to expect day-to-day:

• Assist in executing an elevated dining experience by coordinating serving food to residents
• Maintaining a clean dining room - cleaning after meal service and resetting tables
• Restocking supplies
• Assisting with dishwashing and other kitchen duties
• Some food preparation
• Communicating with residents in a patient, respectful manner
