Lakeville Area Public Schools ISD 194 is Hiring an Elementary Learning Specialist Near Lakeville, MN
Lakeville Area Schools has a 1.0 FTE full-time Learning Specialist position available at Orchard Lake Elementary for the 24/25 school year.
Position SummaryThe Learning Specialist will provide coordination and facilitation of best practice professional development and on-going support for staff with the goal of expanding proficiency, creating classroom instructional excellence and improving the overall performance of elementary level students (K-5). The Learning Specialist will also provide technical support to collaborative teams as they respond to the critical questions of the PLC process. The Learning Specialist will coordinate all support services serving as the assessment data consultant and serve as the district liaison for the standards review process, professional development activities, and assessment planning. They must also collaborate with district and site leadership to implement the district’s strategic roadmap, site goals and assume a leadership role as coach/mentor for all staff. The Learning Specialist will have district responsibilities in the teaching and learning processes. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as designated by the principal and Director of Elementary Teaching and Learning. Specific duties will vary among buildings depending on their individual needs.
Position Qualifications/PrefferedMinnesota Elementary Education Teaching License or K-12 Reading License preferred
Master's degree from an accredited college/university
Five or more years of teaching experience.
