Duties and Responsibilities :

• Preparing patients and rooms for examination, assisting physicians with exams.
• Taking and recording patients' personal information and medical history.
• Performing basic laboratory tests, disposing of contaminated supplies, sterilizing medical instruments.
• Instructing patients about medications.
• Drawing blood, and administering vaccines.

Qualifications (Education / Experience / Knowledge / Skills / Abilities) :

• Knowledge of medical issues and terminology.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to multi-task and perform well in stressful situations.
• Communication skills and a customer service orientation.
