Maintenance Mechanic I

Job Description:

Responsible for the cleanliness of the shredding area within the warehouse and outside the warehouse including loading docks. Ability to support maintenance crew in accomplishing assignments. Support the facilities on an as-needed basis.

Starting Pay:

$16.15 / Hour

Responsibilities:

• Daily function includes sweeping, mopping, dusting, degreasing and greasing assets, and taking out the trash.
• Inspection of tire shred quality passing through conveyors.
• Operates cleaning equipment such as sweeper, scrubber, and mop.
• As needed, provide support to maintenance practices and personnel.
• Daily logging activities, inventory, and other essential measurable assignments and information.
• Follows standard operating procedures for correct scrap shipment practices i.e. trailer inspections, scale inspections, and other procedures as needed.
• Assists other department practices on an as-needed basis.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday (Saturdays are required based on business needs)
• 40 hours per week, Overtime
• Availability on the 1st
• Early morning start time
