Lamb Weston EMEA is Hiring an International Internal Audit Manager Near Breda, IA

Internal Audit at Lamb Weston provides a balanced perspective in identifying and mitigating risks to the achievement of the company’s strategic, operational, and compliance objectives. The International Internal Audit Manager position is responsible for overseeing financial, operational, and compliance reviews throughout the company and will present results and recommendations to management. The International Internal Audit Manager will work collaboratively with business and IT stakeholders. The International Internal Audit Manager is responsible for developing and mentoring Senior Internal Auditors and associate team members. This flexible position is ideal for strong leaders willing to navigate ambiguity, change, and a dynamic business environment. There will be significant exposure to senior management throughout the organization.
Position Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary liaison between Internal Audit and the Senior Leaders, including IT, primarily in Europe.
  • Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of the Company's Business Process and IT SOX Program in Europe and overall compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX).
  • Identify opportunities to enhance internal controls, streamline processes, and improve operational efficiency and propose solutions to Internal Audit Leaders.
  • Develop a risk-based audit strategy and propose projects to be included on the annual internal audit plan.
  • Oversee the entire audit process including planning, fieldwork, and reporting in accordance with department and professional standards, laws and regulations.
  • Assess opportunities to utilize data to identify process insights, risks, and support audit conclusions.
  • Define project roles and responsibilities, timelines and objectives and deliver high quality, timely deliverables.
  • Assess the organization’s risks and oversee the Enterprise Risk Management (“ERM”) assessment process for Europe, which supports the company’s overall ERM assessment. This includes gathering input from Board of Directors, executive and functional leadership.
  • Prepare quality materials to facilitate regular updates and reports to the Audit Committee.
Position Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required (Finance, Accounting or Information Technology preferred)
  • Master’s of Business Administration preferred
  • 5 years professional audit (internal or external) experience
  • Professional certification such as CPA, CIA, CISA, CISSP, or similar required
  • Experience leading and overseeing the work of others related to Enterprise Risk Management, the entire audit process and compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX)
  • Proficient knowledge of auditing and accounting, US GAAP, SOX, COSO 2013 Framework, PCAOB and IIA standards
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and navigate challenging conversations
  • Ability to think critically, ask searching questions, analyze complex areas and propose solutions
  • Ability to collaborate with local stakeholders.
  • Ability to work remotely and independently of direct supervisor.
  • Ability to lead and mentor a fast-paced and highly motivated team
  • Ability to deliver high quality, timely deliverables with a strong focus on stakeholder needs
  • Ability to consolidate complex information into usable customer-oriented formats
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, change, and a dynamic business environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, with intermediate to advanced data analytical skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 20%, including international travel
