We are looking for someone 2 days a week (friday & 3rd saturday of every month)
Responsibilities:
- Assist the hygienist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Perform dental receptionist duties, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records
- Provide chairside assistance to the hygienist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Maintain a clean and organized dental office environment
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant preferred
- Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control protocols
- Familiarity with dental receptionist duties, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
- Proficient in medical documentation and maintaining accurate patient records
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate and caring demeanor towards patients
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Proficient in using dental software for recordkeeping and appointment scheduling
