Lancaster Safety Consulting is Hiring a Recruiting Coordinator Near Wexford, PA

As a Recruiting Coordinator you will:

  • Recruit safety professionals across the United States to conduct various safety & health related functions using various communication methods such as phone and computers.
  • Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies.
  • Become familiar with desired qualifications and experience based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
  • Screen candidates, conduct interviews, and coordinate further interviews with management and other involved personnel.
  • Conduct references checks for the final candidates with detailed documentation.
  • Collaborate with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • Follow-up on referrals and leads to onboard additional safety professionals.
  • Be familiar with industry qualifications and credentials such as (OSHA 500, 501, etc.).

Requirements:

  • Associates’ degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • 2-4 years’ recruiting or management experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • No travel is required for this position.
  • Must be able to work on a computer for prolonged periods.

Details:

  • Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Located in Wexford, PA

Compensation:

  • $40,000 – $50,000/year.
  • Paid time off (PTO) & Volunteer Time Off
  • Paid Holidays, Bereavement Pay, Jury Duty, & Maternity/Paternity leave

  • 3% Company 401K Contribution
