Job Title: Clinical Pharmacist

Location: Orange City, Florida USA 32763, with occasional travel to nearby locations (Port Orange, Ormond Beach)

Duration: 3 Months

Pay Range for role: $51.55 /hr to $58.92 /hr

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm EST, 40 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Monitor drug development pipeline and medical literature to provide clinical support.
• Develop strategies to manage costs and improve health outcomes using managed care and PBM knowledge.
• Develop and maintain formularies for pharmacy and medical drug products.
• Analyze drug utilization trends and propose formulary strategies.
• Collaborate on research projects and develop corporate communications.
• Analyze drug spend and utilization to support trend management.
• Influence departmental strategy and make decisions on project components independently.

Requirements:

• Active pharmacist license in Florida with immunization administration certification.
• BS Pharmacy from an accredited college.
• 5 years of experience as a pharmacist.
• Certified in basic life support (BLS).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
• Willingness to travel within the Daytona Beach area (Orange City, Ormond Beach & Port Orange).

Preferred Qualifications:

• PharmD degree.
• Experience with health plans and knowledge of Medicare in pharmacy contexts.
• Certification in Six Sigma or Project Management Professional.
• Pharmacy residency or similar practice experience.
