Responsibilities

This is a full-time on-site role for a CNA/Nationally Certified Medical Assistant at LanceSoft, Inc. in Juneau, AK. The CNA/Medical Assistant will be responsible for assisting healthcare professionals in providing patient care, performing clinical tasks, maintaining medical records, and ensuring patient comfort and safety, providing specimen collection, Point of Care Testing (POCT). Will be responsible for following protocol for collecting, labeling, and transporting of specimens, performing and assisting with radiology exams per protocol if competencies are met. 

Job Details:

Shift - Days, (3x12 / 5x8) hours

Position Type - Permanent, Full time

Salary- $54,000 - $66,000

Qualifications

-Minimum 1 year of experience as CNA

-High school diploma or GED - required

-Experience working in a healthcare setting preferred.

-Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – required

-Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) OR

-EMT III Current AK Certification OR

-Current AK Paramedic Certification OR

-Nursing Degree from an accredited institution can replace the requirements above.

-Medical terminology and the ability to readily learn and use various computer programs preferred. 

-Clinic procedures for receiving and following through on a patient visit and any related clinic treatments, procedures.

-Age-appropriate vital signs and behaviors.
