Job Summary:

Client is seeking a Contract Specialist with a focus on improving core business processes. This position focuses on enhancing data integrity, streamlining reporting processes, and improving overall business workflows. The specialist will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to ensure that data is accurate, accessible, and actionable.

Key Responsibilities:

•Assist in editing and organizing existing data from various sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.

•Create standard reports to address common data requests from stakeholders.

•Support with developing and auditing team metrics to measure performance and identify improvements.

•Support in creating and developing an organizational SharePoint site.

•Support the defense contracts team with various activities throughout the contract life cycle (i.e., NDA negotiations, RFP/Proposal responses, contract execution, or closeout). 

Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

•Proficient and demonstrated experience with Excel formulas and functionally, especially lookup formulas, pivot tables, and data manipulation techniques.

•General knowledge of creating and building SharePoint sites

•Bachelor's Degree plus 1 year of related work experience OR a minimum of 5 years of related work experience.

•Experience in or knowledge of all aspects of the contract life cycle including proposal management, negotiations, drafting contract letters, order administration, and closeout of contracts.

•Meet Export Control compliance requirements, a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

•Candidate is willing to and has the ability to obtain a DOD Secret Clearence.

Preferred Requirements:

•Experience in data base management including SQL, MS Access, Power Pivot, and/or Power BI.

•Experience in IT project management.

•Experience working in Aerospace in support of development or production programs.

•Experience working with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).

•Candidate currently possesses a DoD Secret Clearance.
